Last week we caught up with Luca, the manager of CU Next Tuesday's second room, supplying your weekly dose of DnB and Bassline. He told us all we need to know about The Alley and how you can all get involved!

What is The Alley?
The Alley is CU Next Tuesday’s bass driven room 2! We bring DnB and Bassline music to the people by putting on local DJ’s and letting them rip at Brightons busiest mid-week student night 🔥
What does a night at The Alley look like?
4 hours of the best bass music provided by 4-8 DJ’s per night in our room 2, which is always supported by a sweaty mass of ravers thanks to the huge pull that CU Next Tuesday has. If you love your DnB come find us next to main room and have a skank in front of our hefty Funktion-One sound system🕺
Every other week you can catch us taking over main room at the end of the night too!
How can DJ’s get a set at The Alley
All you need to have in order to get a set at The Alley is a desire to play. I’m proud to say that we have given many talented local DJ’s their first ever club sets.
Just drop a message to @thealleybtn on insta explaining why you’re keen and we’ll get back to you! Even better, ask for Luca on a Tuesday night and have a chat. I love hearing from DnB DJ’s, producers or just lovers of the music! I’ve even been known to give away sets on the spot!
The Alley also books some of the most established names on the local scene, so hit us up whatever the level.
What opportunities can come out of getting involved?
The Alley is the doorway to so much more on the local scene. We are the little brother of Supercharged who put on the biggest headline acts (Andy C, Shy FX, Holy Goof, Kanine, A.M.C just to name a small number). Room 2’s and even main room supports are sometimes selected from Alley talent!
We are also affiliated with Boundary festival, the biggest Electronic music festival on the south coast.
We now also have regular CU Next Tuesday main room sets available to the most suitable and committed Alley DJ’s!
