What a year!
On Monday 19th July we made our grand return, bringing back Brighton’s biggest and best events.
We are reminiscing over some of our biggest completely sold out events like Boundary Brighton Festival 2021 and Halloween Seafront Block Party, and even our biggest weekly student nights.
Here we present to your our fave memories and pictures from an incredible 2021.

TOGETHER BEACH FESTIVAL
An event that really went down in the history books for the whole of Brighton. On July 19th 2021 night clubs officially re-opened and we bought you Together Beach Festival.
A completely sold out event, Rox took over the seafront presenting you with 4 venues, 20+ DJ's and 3000 people. An atmosphere like no other, opening our doors at 5pm and closing at 5am, you guys did not stop until that sun set and rose again.
BOUNDARY BRIGHTON FESTIVAL 2021
On Saturday 25th September Boundary Brighton made its grand return. 20,000 people, 3 stages and a completely sold out event. We were blessed with pure sunshine, perfect skies and acts like no other including Sonny Fodera, Shy FX, Hannah Wants, Hardy Caprio, High Contrast, Andy C and so many more incredible performances. Not only did we have the most atmospheric stages, you guys were endorsed with performers, giant inflatables, crowd surfing, fair ground rides and some of the most instagrammable scenes. The perfect end to 2021 festival season.
THE JAGER WRISTBAND - FRESHERS 2021
We knew Brighton & Sussex 2020 freshers were yet to experience Brighton's finest nightlife and a proper freshers. So we thought what better way to show Brighton & Sussex Uni 2020 and 2021 freshers than introducing you to the Jager Wristband. Our freshers wristband and ultimate pass bringing you 5 weekly club nights, 2 festivals and 2 seafront block parties. The only wristband that grants you FREE entry to all events all year long.
This year our Jager Wristband flew off the shelf, selling over 5000+ wristbands. This freshers we piled you with non stop events and incredible experiences. Every theme, every week, for a whole year. There is plenty more to come in 2022.
CU NEXT TUESDAY
You guys really did forget those Wednesday 9am's. CU Next Tuesday at The Arch every Tuesday, Brightons biggest midweek institution bought you so much mischief and madness we don't event know where to begin.
BRIGHTON & SUSSEX INITIATION.
The night we all welcomed you home, an experience like no other. We bought you three rooms of music, free pizza, free donuts on stage games and a crowdsurfing spaceman and Donald Trump. To top it off our very own Brighton local Arrdee made a surprise visit. This was just the start of non stop madness.
MCDONALDS PARTY.
One of our most historical events, this one always goes down a treat. This event remained the talk of the town for weeks after as we heard on bus stops, Brighton & Sussex library and throughout campus. If you didn't come to this one you missed out on hundreds of nuggets, burgers and fries. Did we chuck fries in the air just because we had that much to give out? Yes we did. Not only this we had a surprise visit from Ronald Mcdonald himself who provided you all with Mcdonald's themed birthday packages, on stage games and a little bit of a boogie.
MAMMA MIA X ABBA SPECIAL.
A brand new event that you all absolutely loved. This event sold out online before we could even get our doors open. We bought you a whole room dedicated to Mamma Mia and Abba all night long with a main room hour special. A queue longer than the seafront to get in, pure disco vibes and a glittering night. We will be sure to bring a return of this one.
CEREAL PARTY
Another food fave, we created our very own limited edition Coco Rox and bought you guys non stop cereal, including some of the best American cereals, cereal merch, a dancing cow and even a cereal eating competition. What more could you ask for on a Tuesday evening.
RUNWAY FRIDAYS
Every single week you got that #FridayFeeling. The home of VIP Friday nights made its return and what a year it was. We took off with non stop acts and performances, incredible themes, birthday experiences and a sparkling atmosphere. We bought you home.
TOM ZANETTI
A truly unforgettable night. In October we proudly presented Tom Zanetti for a second time to Runway Friday's stage. Playing some of his biggest hits and partying with you guys all night long, Tom really wanted to get involved with your night. Even to the point he got crowd surfed by you in the crowd. Whether you were watching this from our VIP balcony or right in the middle of the crowd. This was a magical one.
NANDOS NIGHT
We really are all about giving here at Rox, so we took the risk and wanted to see what you guys would think of a Nando's Night at Runway Fridays, that's right FREE Nando's all night long. Plenty of Chicken, plenty of fries and plenty of spice, there was no need to head to Burger King after this night out. A messy favourite of ours.
SWITCH OTR
Runway Friday's proudly presented another incredible performance from Tik Tok track sensation, Switch OTR. A night that will never be forgotten by Runway Friday's but especially Switch OTR as this was his first ever live performance. Performing his brand new track 'Coming for you' you guys loved every moment.
SPECIAL GUESTS
This year we have bought you plenty of performances and artists to our stage, however we have had plenty of surprise guests along the way just wanting to party with you guys. We have had special visits from youtube sensation Joe Weller, our Brighton local and top of the charts Arrdee, Chris Eubank Junior, Elliot Crawford, Tik Tok sensation Jack Joseph, Anna Maynard and plenty more.
Who will 2022 bring to Rox events? 
HALLOWEEN SEAFRONT BLOCK PARTY
Another complete sell out, we took over the whole seafront to give you Brighton's biggest Halloween event. We themed all 4 venues bringing you the Squid Games special at the Arch and a heavily decorated Halloween venue at Shooshh, there was horror every angle you looked at. You guys partied until the morning and really dressed to impress. Any excuse to throw a big one off event for our Rox Residents.
BRIGHTON & SUSSEX OFFICIAL WINTER BALL
We finished the end of term with our annual Brighton & Sussex Winter Ball at The Hilton Hotel. A complete excuse to get dressed up. The magical moments did not stop as it really did snow on this Sunday evening. You guys came in your best dresses and suits, got yourself involved with plenty of free bumper car rides, candy floss and pancakes, a casino, fair ground games, plenty of prosecco and a dance floor that was heaving all night long. What a way to get into the Christmas spirit.
As we bring 2021 to a close, Rox would like to thank every single one of you that supported us by joining us at one of our events, purchasing a ticket or even following our events on our social media.
