One of the Rox team’s favourite pre-drink spots for the biggest midweek night out… (CU Next Tuesday at The Arch), is the Shuffle Bar Brighton. Who could say no to boujee 2-4-1 cocktails before a boogie and free pizza and donuts at The Arch along the seafront? Even better, you can request your own songs all night long through your phone. Shuffle bar is the place to go for the best value for money cocktails on a budget and of course CU Next Tuesday pre drinks!
As we head into the best of British Summer time, why not enjoy your pres on the UK's first real sunset experience! Enjoy a jug of your fave cocktail on the terrace, watching the sunset with performances, shisha and a live DJ and head straight into Runway Friday's at Shooshh after for Brightons most instagrammable VIP Friday night. With a redesigned £200,000 refurbishment, its an absolute need to try out this destination!
Another well loved pre-drink spot is Be At One, which is located right next to one of my personal favourite post-night out food spots KHF (incase you need a cheeky cheesy chips to sober you up before the club). Be At One offers happy hour, two for one cocktails between 4:30pm and 8:00pm depending on the day. So if you’re looking for (several) yummy cocktails to start your night, Be At One is the place to go!
If a casual but cosy pub is more your vibe then we recommend The Hobgoblin for your pre-drink spot. With student discounts available across their wide selection of drinks and it’s location just a quick walk away from the city centre and nightclubs, The Hobgoblin is one of our favourite pre drink spots for sure! Rumour has it, they event do vodka slushies...
The King and Queen offers a similar cosy pub vibe, perfect for casual pres before a wild CUNext Tuesday or Runway Friday night out! Start the night off relaxed with a cheap pint amongst friends before you dance the night away with free pizza and donuts on Tuesdays and weekly huge giveaways come Friday!
Last but by no means least, one of my personal favourite, more hidden away, pre-drink spots is Twisted Lemon. Located in the heart of the Lanes, this quirky cocktail bar offers happy hour cocktails in a cosy tucked away bar perfect for a catchup with the girls or your guys before your night out takes full swing! With a twist on all their cocktails and constantly spicing up the drinks menu of choice, we reccommend the Lotus Biscoff Espresso Martini.
